Upcoming Speaking Engagements

  • Perry Bechky will speak about international investment law at the Foreign Service Institute on March 15th.
  • Dan Fisher-Owens will be co-presenting a pre-conference workshop on U.S. encryption export controls in connection with the American Conference Institute's 7th Advanced Forum on Global Encryption, Cloud & Cyber Export Controls, March 27-29, in San Francisco, California.   • On April 4, Michelle Turner Roberts will be speaking at the afternoon sessions of the Export Controls and Compliance Workshop in Pittsburgh. 
  • On April 6, Babak Hoghooghi will be a featured speaker on a Sanctions Alert webinar about Iran Sanctions.
  • Perry Bechky will moderate a panel discussion about "The Value(s) of International Dispute Resolution" at the annual meeting of the American Society of International Law on Friday, April 14th.  Confirmed speakers on this panel include judges on the International Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights, as well as distinguished professors from Israel and the United States.   • On June 29th, Michelle Turner Roberts will be a panelist on a webinar on Sanctions Essentials: OFAC License Applications. 
  • Perry Bechky will speak about the duties of international arbitrators at an international conference on the rights, duties, and powers of arbitrators.  The conference will be held at American University on September 19th.  More information is available here.
